Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with Computed Tomography scanning procedures, working under the direction of the Manager, CT.

This is an entry-level position requiring competence in performing basic CT exams. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Computed Tomography equipment, procedures, and techniques, as well as radiation safety and protection. A strong understanding of anatomy and physiology is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with Computed Tomography scanning procedures
  • Work under the direction of the Manager, CT
  • Have knowledge of Computed Tomography equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Understand radiation safety and protection
  • Have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
  • Evaluate scans to determine diagnostic quality
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists
  • Ability to perform and/or adapt to changes associated with different work environments and different equipment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Requirements
