We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Nurse to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and provide direct care to residents
- Teach and counsel residents on wellness and health promotion
- Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
- Support residents and their families, and provide oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants
- Train and audit care provided by associates
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Massachusetts
- Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
- Experience working with older adults and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and staff
