Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist Sales Representative to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for coordinating engagement and accomplishment of division sales objectives with our channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Division Product Champion to assist in developing sales opportunities of our focus area as assigned.
  • Coordinate resolutions and corrective actions of field product quality issues.
  • Conduct or participate in quality reviews with customers at their locations.
  • Oversee and direct the production of technical literature, service training materials, and service kits in collaboration with respective departments.
  • Participate and provide input from a service perspective in product transition schedule meetings, design failure mode and effect analysis, and other service design reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and assist by phone distributors/branch/dealers in installation, quality, or service-related problems escalated to management level.
  • Travel to field locations to resolve product problems escalated to management level.
  • Oversee and be responsible for meeting division objectives for the specific programs that are part of the specialist's focus area.
  • Provide resources and promotional support to fully engage our sales team to sell the focused product.
  • Serve as an additional sales and training resource to our channels.
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC industry, specifically with commercial and ductless product HVAC.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but industry experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Reports To:

  • Business Development Director.
