Aviation IT Product Lead

We are looking for an Aviation IT Product Lead to operate onsite in a dynamic environment. The role involves overseeing SaaS applications tailored for the aviation sector. Essential Experience:

Product Development:
  • Convert product vision into comprehensive requirements and prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to deliver exceptional products on schedule and within budget.
  • Assess and prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business needs and customer impact.
Project Management:
  • Create and oversee project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics, making informed, data-driven decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Relay product status, key decisions, and potential risks to stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver product updates to senior management.
Customer Orientation:
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to guide product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to identify customer needs and challenges.
  • Ensure that the product consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Marketing and Sales Collaboration:
  • Work with marketing to devise go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Assist in the development of product marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams regarding new product features and benefits.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or similar roles.
  • Aviation experience is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of the product development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics).


The ideal candidate possesses the ability to discern critical details, demonstrates situational awareness, and understands the importance of representing others effectively. They are results-driven, know when to compromise, and maintain a relentless commitment to excellence. This individual thrives in a diverse international environment, navigating various nationalities, geographies, and cultures.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range: $90K - $120K
- 4% 401K match
- 3 weeks of PTO upon starting
- 12 paid holidays and 4 floating holidays
- 6 sick days
- 80% of health, vision, and dental premiums covered by the company
- Flexible work hours to accommodate commutes and family needs

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
