About the Role

Spectrum's Product and Technology team is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, enhancing, and implementing software systems designed to support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software systems to support business initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
  • Design and implement software solutions to meet business requirements
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse
  • Collaborate with technical teams to analyze and resolve software-related problems
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on lead or technical roles
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with cloud deployment technologies, including AWS and Azure
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure automation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong experience with programming languages, including Java and Python
  • Experience with software security principles and patterns
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
