Experience in painting is essential, and familiarity with welding and basic electrical systems is advantageous. While technical skills can be developed, a solid work ethic is imperative.
Key Responsibilities- Execute bodywork on vehicles and associated components.
- Review repair estimates to ensure all damages and necessary parts are accurately documented.
- Determine the most effective procedures for repairing collision damage.
- Collaborate with the estimator post-teardown to create comprehensive repair estimates.
- Repair vehicles in accordance with OEM standards to uphold quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Utilize and care for all company tools appropriately.
- Communicate with management regarding parts required for repairs.
- Inspect completed repairs to verify they meet quality standards.
- Complete required paperwork in a professional manner.
- Ensure the repair area, tools, and equipment are cleaned and returned to their designated locations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently within a busy team setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a diverse environment.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- I-Car and/or ASE certifications are a plus.
This full-time position typically operates from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation for the Collision Repair Specialist role will be based on factors such as education, certifications, and experience.
