KMG Hotels is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Specialist to join our team at the Holiday Inn Joplin. The Laundry Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our guest rooms and common areas.

As a Laundry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens are properly sorted, cleaned, dried, folded, and stored according to established procedures. Your commitment to quality and efficiency will contribute directly to providing a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.

• Meticulously sort and categorize all incoming laundry items, identifying and treating any stains or special requirements.
• Operate washing machines efficiently, selecting appropriate cycles and detergent levels to ensure optimal cleaning results.
• Transfer clean laundry from washers to dryers, monitoring drying times and ensuring proper removal of moisture.
• Sort dried laundry according to type and prepare it for folding and storage.
• Fold linens neatly and place them in designated storage areas, maintaining a well-organized and efficient system.
• Adhere to strict sanitation protocols when handling contaminated items, prioritizing safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of cleaning supplies and linen stock, promptly notifying management of any shortages or needs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions or repairs required to the appropriate personnel.
