The Recreation Services Associate plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the Recreation department.
This position focuses on fostering positive and welcoming interactions with guests while monitoring activities in designated areas, providing guidance and support as needed.
The Recreation Services Associate is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to both guests and team members consistently.They are expected to embody the Pyramid Global Hospitality culture and advocate for the company as a premier destination and employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities1. Assist with various activities, children's programs, water slides, retail, and other recreation-related areas as required.
2. Promote safety on slides and promptly report any hazards.
3. Ensure timely opening and closing of the swimming pool area, including managing towel stations, seating arrangements, and slides.
4. Operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment and supplies effectively.
5. Respond to phone inquiries and address guest questions with professionalism.
6. Uphold the overall presentation of the Pool Shop, Kids Club, Tennis Court, and activity zones.
7. Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and be vigilant about weather conditions or other factors that may impact guests or equipment.
8. Provide assistance with special events as necessary and offer general resort information to guests.
9. Collaborate with resort staff professionally, sharing essential information with other departments.
10. Promote additional resort services and amenities to guests.
11. Address guest concerns promptly and empathetically.
12. Assist guests with directions, activity recommendations, and other inquiries.
13. Maintain constant vigilance regarding safety issues and report all incidents to recreation management.
14. Handle all company property, supplies, and equipment responsibly.
15. Adhere to a professional appearance and follow the dress code standards set by Pyramid Global Hospitality and the Recreation Department.
16. Remain attentive, courteous, and supportive to guests and colleagues at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- A passion for creating exceptional experiences for all guests.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
