Job Title: Product Specialist - Well Construction

As a Product Specialist at NCS Multistage LLC, you will play a key role in the Product Strategy Team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive commercialization of new or improved technology. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating new product development opportunities, including market and competitive landscape analysis, and working with customers, sales, and engineering to develop a statement of requirements, timeline, and cost estimate for development work.
  • Conducting kick-off meetings with engineering, participating in design reviews, and ensuring engineering and testing meet customer requirements.
  • Attending sales and customer meetings to maintain alignment of projects with ongoing customer and market needs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and approving field trial plans in collaboration with engineering and technical services teams.
  • Collaborating with all pertinent business units to ensure product readiness for commercialization, including manufacturing, sales, marketing, operations, engineering, technical services, IP, legal, BI, and HS&E.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent determination by hiring manager.
  • Industry experience and technical background with coiled tubing service tools, stimulation methods, and downhole flow control.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) status, registered with A.P.E.G.A, considered an asset.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Product and/or project management training and certification.
  • Experience working with data visualization software, project management systems, and modeling software.
  • International or offshore operations experience.
