We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services in the specialty of Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and PET/CT.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of equipment to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes and therapeutic procedures involving radiopharmaceuticals.
- Interview patients, explain procedures, perform venipuncture, and position patients for procedures.
- Review test results with radiologists/referring physicians.
- Follow NRC guidelines to limit patient and staff exposures.
- Monitor equipment performance and notify service personnel as needed.
- Completion of an NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine program or meet eligibility requirements to become registered with NMTCB or ARRT.
- Registered with the NMTCB or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT (N) within six months of employment.
- Fundamental understanding of general Nuclear Medicine and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Current Montana License as appropriate to provide PET/CT services.
- Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
