Job Opportunity: Field Interviewer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Interviewer to join our team at Headway Workforce Solutions. As a Field Interviewer, you will play a critical role in conducting study enrollment interviews and collecting data for our client's research project.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and collect study informed consent, ensuring respondents understand the study's purpose and procedures.
  • Conduct computer-based interviews by phone and in-person, maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Issue and track respondent payments in the form of a $40 Visa gift card.
  • Locate and schedule appointments with respondents who are difficult to reach.
  • Regularly report to assigned Field Manager and maintain confidentiality of collected data.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and strong typing skills.
  • Must have home wireless internet and a private space to conduct interviews.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance.
  • This position requires a background check.
Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience in interviewing or customer service.
  • Social worker background or experience working with state or local agencies supporting services for citizens dealing with SUD and/or foster care are a plus.
  • English and Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Exceptional reading, verbal, and listening skills with the ability to multi-task.

We offer a competitive hourly rate based on your location, following the Service Contract Act (SCA) rates. The SCA Rate for Genesee County is $22.34 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour Health & Welfare stipend.

Please note that this is a part-time position, requiring at least 20 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours per week based on availability and project needs. You will be required to attend a remote project training, which will be paid and consist of approximately 8 hours of computer self-study at home and 3 days of group training sessions conducted remotely via WebEx.
