Role Summary:

The Revenue Assurance Specialist is responsible for auditing the daily financial records of various revenue-generating departments within the Resort and Casino. This role ensures adherence to internal controls, gaming regulations, and established policies, focusing on the accuracy of revenue transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of daily revenue streams, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Identify discrepancies in accounting practices, investigate issues, and recommend improvements to enhance operational policies.
  • Maintain a database for W2-G forms, prepare necessary IRS documentation, and input data into the General Ledger system.
  • Audit complimentary goods and services, generating reports for managerial review.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and State regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management or as approved by the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

Regularly sitting, using hands for tasks, and communicating verbally. Frequent reaching, occasional standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling may be required. The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally is necessary. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily indoors, within an office setting. The noise level may vary from quiet to moderate, with potential for increased noise during busy periods. Interaction with employees, external agencies, and the public is expected.
