Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team at Adventist Health Sierra Vista. This is a full-time, rotating shift position that requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems.
  • Provide facility security functions as directed.
  • Complete specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise.
  • Perform other general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of grounds, facility, and site.
  • Provide plant operation and security shift coverage as necessary.
  • Assist and direct entry-level engineers as needed.
Requirements
  • CDL license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in a hospital environment with plant operation background.
  • Three years of previous experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance.
  • Security experience preferred.
  • Competent writing and computer skills, as well as basic math competency.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
