Surgical Technologist Opportunity

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the operating room team, supporting surgeons, nurses, and medical professionals during patient procedures.

This is a PRN position requiring flexibility to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring necessary equipment is available.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites, and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
  • Monitor and manage surgical supplies, tracking inventory and ordering replacements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Technical College or equivalent program in Surgical Technology.
  • Surgical Technologist Certification required after 2008.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong understanding of surgical technology and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $32-$42 per hour based on location and experience.
