Job Summary

The Relationship Banker II is a key member of our sales team, responsible for building strong relationships with our members and providing tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process routine and complex financial transactions for members, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
  • Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, including businesses, trusts, fiduciary, and IRA accounts.
  • Provide exceptional member service by promptly addressing concerns and escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and recommend products and services to meet members' financial needs, partnering with service teams as needed.
  • Meet quarterly metrics and service objectives, including sales targets and incentives, to drive business goals and initiatives.
  • Complete required compliance training and maintain in-depth knowledge of credit union products and services.
  • Perform account maintenance activities, including updating member contact and personal information.
  • Assist Branch leadership with the onboarding of new Representatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months of experience in a fast-paced sales or customer service role within the financial services industry.
  • Ability to listen to members' needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Excellent listening skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and understand concerns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas concisely and logically.
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
  • Skilled in working in a fast-paced customer service and sales environment, with attention to accuracy and service.
  • Aptitude for learning a variety of computer systems and technology to solve member issues.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
  • Certification/License: Notary preferred.
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
