Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
Philips North America is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality products by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Overall technical leadership and responsibility for the realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.
• Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high-level product design, check, and optimize integration and verification.
• System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to hardware/software element and part level and related traceability.
• Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.
• Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation-compliant manner.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred).
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality.
• Experience with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
