Wireless Engineer III Job Summary

The Wireless Engineer III is a key role in our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-complexity wireless network systems. This position involves planning, forecasting, and implementing wireless network enhancements and improvements, with a focus on wireless network architecture and design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
  • Integrate various communication architectures, hardware, software, and protocols into complete wireless network configurations.
  • Evaluate new wireless network products and perform problem resolution.
  • Develop and implement wireless network enhancements, recommending improvements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of wireless networking (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.), industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, variants), and wireless technologies (bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet, and transport protocols).
  • Proficiency with wireless network devices, appliances, and designing software (e.g., Visio).
  • Bachelor's degree, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8-10 years of wireless network experience.
  • Certifications: Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP), vendor-specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.).
