We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Trauma OR to join our team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a group of patients, utilizing the nursing process and therapeutic use of self to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in patient status in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in trauma care.
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- 1 year acute care experience.
HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is a 417-bed acute care facility located in west Miami-Dade County. Our hospital offers a range of services, including trauma, burn, surgical, women's and children's services, behavioral health, and diagnostic services. We are a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center certified by the Florida Department of Health and verified as a Level I Adult Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons.
