Physician Required for Family Practice Role in California

Barton Associates, a leading national locum tenens physician staffing company, is seeking a qualified Family Practice MD to join their team in California.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The role involves providing primary care services to patients, including physical examinations, preventative health services, prenatal care, chronic disease management, and women's and men's health services.
In addition to the clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to perform diagnostic testing, immunizations, and blood draws as needed. The possibility of extension exists, and the EMR system used is Epic.
The position offers strong compensation, with travel-related expenses covered, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided. Dedicated recruiters will be available to support future travel opportunities.
A typical day in this role would involve working 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM shifts for 4-5 days per week. The flexible schedule allows for a good work-life balance, making it an attractive option for those looking to supplement their income or gain experience in a new setting.
