We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to enhance our team of mental health professionals at The Everett Clinic, a part of Optum. Our Behavioral Health team is bolstered by a dedicated group of case managers, patient service representatives, and psychiatrists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide treatment for a diverse range of mental health issues that reflect the needs of our varied patient demographic
  • Design and implement a clinical treatment program for patients presenting with moderate to severe social or psychological challenges, involving patients and/or families in the treatment planning process as appropriate
  • Facilitate individual, family, or group therapy sessions adhering to ethical and medical necessity standards
  • Opportunity to create and lead time-limited psycho-educational groups or ongoing therapy sessions
  • Conduct telephone screenings for patients in crisis and provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop a multi-disciplinary treatment plan

Required Qualifications:
  • PhD or PsyD fully licensed in Washington State by the time of hire
  • Experience in individual therapy within an outpatient context
  • Training and proficiency in brief therapeutic techniques
  • Capability to diagnose and treat patients effectively
Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this position is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws.
