Malace HR is a leading provider of facility maintenance services in the Everett area, seeking an experienced Mechanic and Maintenance Specialist. This role pays $35-43 per hour and involves supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance: Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
  • Operation and Repair: Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
  • General Maintenance: General interior maintenance hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, and repair doors.
  • Materials Handling: Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
  • Electrical Work: Replace lighting and ballasts.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean HVAC coils, change filters, and belts.
Requirements
  • Safety: Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary, comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas, recognize danger and safety hazards, and propose methods to eliminate them.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
  • Driving: Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license (if mobile).
  • Administrative: Submit P-card Receipts Daily, update work order status in real time, utilize CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed, perform Vehicle Safety Inspection, escalate problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner, attend work and safety meetings as required.
