Job Overview

Higher Talents is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Management Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management practices throughout the organization.

Salary Range: $62,500 - $77,500

About the Role

This position requires conducting internal audits across various departments to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. The successful candidate will develop, execute, and manage audit plans in alignment with the organization's objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of internal controls to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and recommendations
  • Stay current with industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure audits meet regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations
  • Monitor the status of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions taken
  • Assist in developing audit methodologies, tools, and procedures to enhance audit processes
  • Provide training and support to staff on audit-related matters as necessary
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
