Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical programs.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • No prior experience required.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position with consistent 16-24 hours per week. Emphasis is on acute care needs with some potential flexibility to outpatient services if able and willing.
