Job Title: Banquet Set-Up

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up professional to join our team at The Greenbrier Hotel. As a Banquet Set-Up specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and removing various banquet room sets, stationary buffets, and other event-related equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the success of our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and removing banquet room sets, including tables, chairs, and linens
  • Assembling and disassembling stationary buffets and other event-related equipment
  • Coordinating with event planners and staff to ensure seamless event execution
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and storage areas
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and event planners to ensure timely and accurate setup and removal of event equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in banquet set-up or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
  • Valid driver's license

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
