**Job Summary**

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel, Director of Corporate International Regulatory Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our legal leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring corporate-wide compliance with import and export regulations, sanctions, and customs while leading our Corporate International Regulatory Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global compliance strategies to ensure adherence to international regulations and laws.
  • Lead a team of attorneys and compliance specialists in managing and mitigating regulatory risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, anti-boycott regulations, Census Bureau regulations, U.S. Customs regulations, and BATFE regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on international regulatory compliance matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory landscapes and provide recommendations for updates to compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of legal experience, including significant experience working in the field of international regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of attorneys and compliance specialists preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and willing and able to become licensed in Virginia within one year of joining the ACC.
