About the Role:

The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for ensuring that there is an approved global IT architecture and plan covering applications, computer hardware, networking and infrastructure, voice and data communications technology, and security. They will determine those aspects of information technology that will be satisfied by internal vs. external resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the global IT function to achieve reliable, cost-effective, and secure information services.
  • Ensure that there is an approved global IT architecture and plan.
  • Determine those aspects of information technology that will be satisfied by internal vs. external resources.
  • Support the overarching objective of global standardization of information technology solutions.
  • Facilitate information systems investments and improvements that contribute to overall business process improvements.
  • Creation and execution of security strategies that increase the efficiency of IT systems and projects.
  • Directing crisis management by investigating the cause of a security breach and implementing the right solutions.
  • Overseeing vulnerability audits, penetration tests, and forensic IT investigations.
  • Responsible for physical security controls that prevent unauthorized personnel from gaining physical access to sensitive components.
  • IT Global Talent Management – responsible for the assessment, recruitment, and development of global IT positions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline, MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years total IT experience with minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar global position.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferable.
  • 10+ experience with infrastructure and security.
  • Ability to lead global teams.

Travel Requirements:

The role requires some international travel, comprising approximately 15% per year.
