Key Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs and collect lab specimens
  • Perform EKGs and administer IM injections
  • Collect patient history and document EHR
  • Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts
  • Maintain records and logs on activities
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress
Requirements
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting
  • Experience using an EHR system
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO / BMO) license
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • Current BLS Certification
