Job Summary

This is an exciting time for NWFEM We have been adding new customers each month and are looking to fill multiple positions in our Construction/Handyman department.

This position is a night shift, 4 days on, 3 days off. We need experienced individuals in the trades, willing to learn, and that have a great attitude.

The ideal candidate has a blend of trade skills, has a positive attitude, thrives in a collaborative environment and looks forward to solving problems.

Available Shifts

Multiple night shifts available, at either Part Time or Full Time. All our night shifts start at 7 PM and run until about 5 AM.

Our technicians generally work four 10 hour shifts. Three days off.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. NWFEM tackles a wide range of various types of facilities maintenance and repair.
  2. Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
  3. Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications
  4. Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed
  5. Order, record, and track materials needed for jobs ahead of time in order to meet customer expectations for project timelines
  6. Ability to take accurate measurements, draw up design specs for customer approval, and being in compliance with building codes
  7. Basic electrical/plumbing knowledge
  8. Ability to come up with solutions for complex constructibility challenges to maintain design intent
  9. Able to manage small teams of carpenter and laborers
  10. Implement best practices and industry standard construction methods
  11. Provide positive training and direction for carpenters and laborers as needed
  12. Able to use project management software
  13. Ability to layout and set concrete forms

Salary: $28/hr to $38/hr, DOE. Benefits include: 401k Retirement Fund with a match, Company provided devices, Company profit sharing, Medical, Dental, PTO.
