Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Nutrition Care Manager (Certified Dietary Manager or Dietetic Technician) to become an integral part of our Nutrition Team within a senior living community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments, monitor progress, and implement tailored nutrition care plans for residents under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.
- Provide guidance to the dining department regarding resident care and meal service, including conducting meal rounds as per company protocols.
- Assist in menu planning that aligns with nutritional standards, regulatory compliance, and resident preferences.
- Oversee and train the dining service team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality and resident rights.
- Participate in and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction and quality assurance programs.
Qualifications:
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nutrition & dietetics or a related field is required.
- Credentialing as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a senior living environment is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software is essential.
