Department Overview:
The Product Development & Strategy (PDS) team at Capital Dynamics is pivotal in launching innovative products across various alternative investment strategies and markets.
This team spearheads strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities for expanding investment strategies and enhancing the firm’s ESG practices.
Role Purpose:
We are looking for an Investment Analyst with a focus on RfP and ESG to join our Product Development and Strategy department.
The Analyst will be integral in managing investor communications, overseeing the complete process of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), while also supporting the implementation of the firm’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
The successful candidate will gather, articulate, and summarize both quantitative and qualitative data regarding Capital Dynamics' Clean Energy and Private Equity sectors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics to effectively report to clients and foster growth in our strategies.
Additionally, the Analyst will maintain RFPIO, our RFP database, ensuring it is updated with the latest responses and relevant performance data.
This role presents a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of Capital Dynamics' investment platforms and the operational functions within a global asset management firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare RFPs, DDQs, and surveys for our global client base regarding Clean Energy and Private Equity offerings.
- Serve as the primary contact for Product Managers and Sales teams in completing RFPs, collaborating with internal departments for necessary data.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of opportunity-related RFP requests.
- Regularly update RFPIO and corporate data, including Human Resources and company statistics.
- Assist in optimizing the RFP evaluation and completion process in partnership with Product Managers.
- Support the execution of the ESG strategy across Capital Dynamics' investment platforms.
- Collect and report ESG data and KPIs in alignment with recognized frameworks.
- Assist in internal and external ESG reporting for various disclosures.
- Develop a solid understanding of financial concepts and enhance technical writing skills.
- Collaborate with internal functions to address inquiries from investors and respond to regulatory developments.
Key Competencies:
- Experience or a strong interest in RfP or ESG roles is preferred.
- Proven ability to create professional presentations with clear messaging.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on precision.
- Strong analytical skills and financial knowledge are advantageous.
- Interest in Private Assets, particularly in Private Equity and Clean Energy.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to proofread effectively.
- Willingness to work across time zones in a dynamic environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution with a strong academic record.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in private markets or alternative investments is desirable, but recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds will also be considered.
- Preferred fields of study include English, Marketing, Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential.
Languages:
- Fluency in English with superior writing skills is required.
- Proficiency in another European language, such as German, French, or Italian, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Remuneration:
- This position offers a competitive base salary, complemented by a performance-based bonus.
- The specific salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

- This is an office-based role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
