Telecom Network Strategist

Zenlayer, Inc is seeking a seasoned Telecom Network Strategist to lead our carrier relationship efforts and drive business growth. This role will involve establishing and nurturing relationships with carriers and vendors to further develop our business.

• Lead and maintain business relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISP), IP Transit vendors, and Data Center Operators
• Identify and pursue sourcing opportunities for data center, network services, and partnerships to meet network expansion requirements, reduce costs, and leverage external suppliers and partners
• Collaborate with the Network Leadership Team to define, develop, and deliver on an integrated and aligned strategy to support short- and long-term goals of the company
• Manage network services procurement and ecosystem investment, including ongoing management of network operating costs and commitments
• Create and implement effective procurement strategies for major networking equipment and accessories, working with internal business units on potential future projects
• Develop and expand vendor channels for different networking equipment and accessories, including due diligence and cost negotiation
• Identify and resolve problems in operations processes in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
• Travel to visit vendors as needed

• Background in procurement, network interconnection strategy, network planning, or internet peering in telecom, data center, AI, or cloud industry
• Degree graduate in business administration or related field
• 8+ years of related working experience in similar roles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess excellent computer skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
