Position Overview

The Strategic Finance Partner plays a crucial role in delivering financial insights and managing performance to align with the strategic objectives of intricate divisions.

This position is embedded within complex organizational structures, providing a highly interactive and visible opportunity to directly impact financial strategy and resource distribution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert financial guidance, ensuring alignment of financial resources with divisional objectives, and drive performance enhancement through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee efficient resource allocation, monitor financial performance, identify potential risks and opportunities, and support decision-making with timely and precise financial analysis.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, contribute to process enhancements, and assist the Senior Finance Business Partner.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly analytical professional with demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

A proven ability to excel in a dynamic environment, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to process improvement, is essential for this role. Previous experience in higher education and familiarity with financial planning tools are advantageous but not mandatory.


Qualifications
  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA); or
  • Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of tertiary qualifications and relevant experience.

Knowledge of financial planning and associated processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting) in complex environments is required.
