Job Title: Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Denver, CO - On-Site Required

Duration: 6 Months

Description:
As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Saxon Global, you will be responsible for providing primary management, administration, support, and ongoing maintenance of production platforms within a 24x7x365 environment and data center environment. This role requires the ability to understand, execute, and document moderate to complex operational tasks and work requests that are assigned, as well as experience in moderate to complex research and fact finding using various tools and informational sources.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work under the leadership of technical onsite lead and assist with following tasks:
  • Fallout remediation & support
  • Site Validation & remediation
  • H/W Support
  • Day 2 NOC support
  • NOC Site analysis, troubleshooting & restoration
  • Drive Test support

Infrastructure Management:
  • vCenter host cleanup
  • Infrastructure management
  • Dark sites management
  • Provide BMO (Bare metal orchestration)

Requirements:
  • 8 years experience
  • Strong fundamentals in OS (Linux/ESXI), scripting experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge on ESXi/vSphere & Bare metals
  • Hand-on basic Networking experience
  • Some hand-on for AWS, Kubernetes experience
  • Telecom background (working with vendors like Mavenir or Samsung) will be plus
  • Telecom Field experience (if any)
