Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Barista/Cashier to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a Barista/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brewing and Serving Coffee: Brew Barista coffee along with flavor of the day coffee, and make specialty drinks to order, following all Parkhurst recipes.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Adhere to all cash handling procedures, price and stock all grab and go items, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Customer Interaction and Merchandising: Interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner, merchandise area using Barista signage and other approved materials, and follow cleaning schedule as provided by management.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Assist fellow team members at every opportunity, maintain an open line of communication with management, and follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Standing and/or walking - 50% of time, occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.
  • Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
