Position Overview:
The Chief Risk Management Officer is tasked with overseeing, coordinating, and directing the Risk Management initiatives across all operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF), including the STOF Board/Council.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Executive Finance of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and collaborates closely with the Director of Enterprise Risk for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory, while a Master's degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
Candidates must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in risk management, property insurance, workers' compensation, property casualty, or industrial safety, with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of tribal regulations and commercial laws is highly advantageous. A valid Florida Driver's License is required. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.

Travel and Flexibility:
The role requires the ability to travel across various reservation locations or other business sites and to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
