Position Overview: The University of Miami Health System, Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Associate Professor specializing in Neuro-Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care for both inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Focus on the treatment and prevention of neurological disorders, with an emphasis on primary and metastatic brain tumors.
  • Manage patients experiencing neurologic complications due to malignancies.
  • Engage in innovative clinical research and develop novel treatment protocols.
  • Provide educational instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows in various clinical settings.
  • Actively participate in the training programs associated with the Neurology Resident Fellowship.
  • Contribute to resident and fellowship events, including conferences and teaching sessions.
  • Involve in research initiatives targeting metastatic brain tumors and related complications.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
  • Preferred completion of a General Neurology Fellowship.
  • Board certification in Neurology is highly recommended.
  • Eligibility for a medical license in Florida.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Proven capability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
