Position Title: Marketing Services Coordinator

Location: Minneapolis, MN

SUMMARY: Under the direct oversight of the Senior Marketing Services Manager and in accordance with established company policies and procedures, the Marketing Services Coordinator is tasked with managing the daily marketing functions of the local office. This role encompasses responsibilities related to client events, seminars, community outreach, charitable initiatives, and various marketing and business development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Organizes and implements all seminars, client entertainment, and business development events in collaboration with the Client Growth team as necessary.

2. Conducts marketing orientation sessions for newly hired legal staff.

3. Leverages available business development research tools to identify potential marketing prospects and gather strategic marketing insights.

4. Provides recommendations to the Office Managing Partner regarding memberships, sponsorships, and community engagement to enhance marketing effectiveness.

5. Oversees local community support initiatives and practice development sponsorships, including managing advertisements, branding, event attendance, and evaluating return on investment.

6. Manages the office's client and community relations budget as well as the sports and entertainment budget, collaborating with the Office Managing Partner and Senior Marketing Services Manager during annual budget planning and monthly reviews.

7. Works with the communications team to produce press releases, resources for public relations opportunities, surveys, directories, and other listings.

8. Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to present organized and timely information to attorneys and staff during meetings, as well as when interacting with clients and vendors.

9. Ensures the availability of marketing collateral, company store items, and the procurement of client gifts.

10. Responsible for maintaining and utilizing marketing databases and CRM systems for the firm.

11. Manages the local office's social media presence and content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.

12. Coordinates requests for and distribution of tickets for various sporting and client entertainment events.

13. Maintains accurate information on the firm’s intranet calendars related to marketing events and ticket availability.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with knowledge of marketing, communications, and public relations.

2. Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in a professional services environment.

3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.

4. Proficient in utilizing marketing databases and familiar with marketing-related software tools.

5. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail in proofreading materials.

7. Capability to prepare, understand, and monitor approved budgets.

8. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

9. Willingness to occasionally work beyond standard hours to fulfill essential job functions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or environmental hazards.

2. Ability to lift and transport materials and boxes weighing up to forty (40) pounds, and to set up signage and materials for events.
