Job Summary

The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Trial Court Clerk II. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Office of the Clerk of the District Court.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, record-keeping, and data entry
  • Assist with the maintenance of alphabetical and numerical filing systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public, attorneys, and litigants
  • Process and disburse monies, as well as receipt and record documentation
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including telephone duties and paperwork processing

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in office clerical work
  • Preferred qualifications: 1 year of experience in a court clerk's or legal office with accounting and general bookkeeping, plus a working knowledge of computers
