Retirement Manager Job Description

As a Retirement Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping our company's benefits strategy and ensuring that our employees have access to comprehensive and competitive retirement plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and participation in retirement plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and administer qualified and non-qualified retirement plans
  • Manage relationships with consultants, investment advisors, and recordkeepers to ensure service level agreements are met and programs are cost-effective
  • Drive participation in retirement initiatives, including financial wellness programs
  • Execute Annual Enrollment strategy and communications for executive plans
  • Support the Total Rewards leadership in the development of both short and long-term benefits and program strategies
  • Oversee RFPs and transitions to new vendors to drive our retirement strategy while improving efficiency and managing costs
  • Translate complex concepts related to benefits in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Engage on benefits-related tasks for M&A team when reviewing diligence for potential future acquisitions
  • Partner with HR to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness of strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Manage compliance with Federal and State regulations such as IRC, ERISA, and SECURE 2.0
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in retirement benefit plan structure, compliance, administration, and engagement
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, SECURE 2.0, and other federal and state provisions governing retirement plans
  • CCP, CEBS, CBP, and/or SPHR certification preferred
  • Superb relationship management skills with an ability to collaborate and negotiate with finesse
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
