Electrical Power Engineer IV

At CHA Consulting, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Engineer IV to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy/Manufacturing Team. This key role is responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides advanced judgment and analysis techniques for the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products or changes to an existing scheme.
  • Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff.
  • Mentors junior staff members and provides technical review of their work as needed.
  • Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
  • Selects proper procedures to self-check his/her own work for completeness and accuracy in technical reports and calculations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
  • PE required.
  • Minimum 4 years' related engineering experience required.
  • Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power Systems experience.
  • Arc Flash Study and Coordination Study experience.
  • Low voltage AC power experience and field experience preferred.
What We Offer:

At CHA, we offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $111,000, based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
