Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Vocational Program Coordinator to join our team at Hope Network. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with staff and members to promote a positive work environment and advance the quality of services provided to our members.

You will actively engage members, work alongside them in the work-ordered day, and identify needs within the unit and clubhouse. Your tasks may include meal preparation, administrative planning, clerical responsibilities, store operations, snack management, and building maintenance.

To ensure successful outcomes, you will be responsible for completing unit work even when members are unwilling to assist, identifying and encouraging the skills and talents of each member, and participating in social/recreational activities on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

As an advisor, advocate, and resource for a caseload of members, you will support their goals to find meaningful work outside the clubhouse through Supported, Transitional or Independent Employment.

Key responsibilities include vocational skill building, completing applications, interviewing, job development, job coaching, and follow-along supports.
