Clubhouse Professional

The Friendship Clubhouse is a non-clinical therapy program that helps adults with mental illnesses achieve vocational productivity and social satisfaction. We foster an informal setting, encouraging collaboration between staff and members.

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our members in maintaining a flexible program of activities, including vocational, educational, and recreational pursuits. The ideal candidate will work closely with staff and members to identify needs and promote a positive work environment.

1. Support members in planning and completing a full day's worth of work, ensuring their needs are met.
2. Encourage skills development, creative ideas, and efforts of each member daily.
3. Serve as an advisor, advocate, and resource for a caseload of members, helping them find meaningful work outside the Clubhouse.
4. Participate in outreach activities to achieve high attendance rates.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree or higher in Human Services or related field; Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Services preferred.
Valid State of Michigan driver's license required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills required.
