Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor - Water Safety Specialist to join our team at Wisconsin Swim Academy. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a critical role in teaching swim skills to students and ensuring their safety in and around the water.

Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Our top priority is the safety of our students. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all students are safe and secure in the water at all times.
  • Teaching and Coaching: You will teach swim skills to students of all ages and abilities, using our curriculum and instructional methods. You will also provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills.
  • Team Player: As a Swim Instructor, you will be part of a team of instructors and staff who work together to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.
  • Continuous Learning: You will be required to complete ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and water safety techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Caring and Compassion: You must have a genuine care and compassion for children and adults, and be able to provide a supportive and non-judgmental learning environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, and be able to provide clear and concise instructions and feedback.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be in the water for at least 3 hours at a time, and be on your feet for at least 3 hours.
