Job Title: Nursing Education Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Education Specialist to join our team at CarolinaEast Health System. As a key member of our Perioperative department, you will play a vital role in facilitating the learning and development of nursing students and new hires.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to relate effectively to patients, families, physicians, and staff. A current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing is required, along with BLS certification and knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description: The Registered Nurse Master Preceptor serves as a facilitator for nursing and surgical technology students and new hire learning and role development within the Perioperative setting. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide educational leadership for professional practice in alignment with the mission, vision, values, and goals of CarolinaEast Medical Center Operating Room.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by NC State Board of Nursing
  • Maintain current BLS certification
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing
