Job Description

AmeriCare Plus seeks a highly skilled and experienced Agency Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Personal Care / In-Home Care Agency in Orange.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of Staffing Coordinators, LPN/RN's, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and direct care/field staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Medicaid manual (DMAS), VDH regulations, and AmeriCare Plus company policy and procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all paperwork per regulations required by Medical Assistance Services, Virginia Department of Health, and other governing agencies, as well as company policy.
  • Marketing and Community Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract clients and staff, and coordinate special events and community service projects.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the ordering and cost of office supplies and other agency expenses, and assist with collections.
  • Training and Development: Conduct employee orientation and training, and ensure staff receive required in-service training and corporate training meetings.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Documentation of positive work history
  • 1 year supervisory experience in the healthcare industry
  • Valid Driver's License
  • No Criminal History Record and good credit history

Benefits: After 90 days of employment, Agency Manager will be eligible for co-pay Health Insurance.
