  • Develop and implement monthly menus that meet the nutritional needs of young children, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious hot meals and snacks, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and shopping to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local health department regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
  • Assist with temporary assignments within the childcare center as needed.
  • Transport children to nearby elementary schools for our Before and After School care program.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health department guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Food Service Manager Certification, as required by the local health department.
  • Possess a valid TX state driver's license and a clean driving record to operate the school van and mini school bus.
  • Clear satisfactory background checks from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and DPS.
