Role Description:
The selected candidates will engage with dietetic interns during their clinical training at affiliated healthcare facilities. This role involves collaboration with the internship administrative team and healthcare staff to create and deliver competency-based learning experiences that align with the Standards for Dietetic Internships established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Teaching Responsibilities:
Assignments may include courses related to Medical Nutrition Therapy and practical training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a closely related field, with at least 2 years of clinical experience, or a master’s degree in the same fields with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and effective teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive learning environment is preferred.
- Relevant professional experience is advantageous.
Special Conditions:
Compliance with mandated reporting requirements under applicable laws is expected. A satisfactory background check is required prior to employment commencement.
