Job Summary

Colgate University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care and support to our student-athletes, as well as coordinating medical operations for our football and men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prevention, care, rehabilitation, and emergency management of injuries for student-athletes
  • Record and evaluate practice, treatment, and injury logs
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, and other staff members
  • Supervise student assistants and manage inventory and facilities
  • Prepare and execute pre-participation screenings
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with NCAA and University regulations
Requirements
  • NATABOC and NYS certification
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a professional, graduate assistant, or intern
  • Experience in a college athletics setting preferred
Working Conditions

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will work weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends, and will be required to facilitate physical rehabilitation and treatment of student-athletes.
