Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team at Kettering Health Network. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing care to individuals with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease processes. You will work closely with our referral sources and medical direction to develop injury prevention programs for athletes in the community and clinic settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care to individuals with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease processes
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for athletes in the community and clinic settings
  • Perform a wide variety of treatment procedures consistent with athletic injury care
  • Keep referring physicians updated as needed
  • Interact with patients, co-workers, and customers throughout KHN
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science/Art degree
  • Current license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board
  • Current certification by the Athletic Trainers Board of Certification
  • Current certification at healthcare provider level CPR
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Remains current/increases knowledge in all aspects of Athletic Training
  • Possesses characteristics of dependability, versatility, and teamwork
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to details
