Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Servicing Relationship Specialist to join our team at Carrington. As a key member of our mortgage servicing operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and driving results with respect to mortgage servicing counterparty relationships.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with all levels of management and non-management staff to capture and document client/investor servicing requirements, create investor presentations, perform ad hoc analysis, and assist in loan servicing transfers, change management, process improvement, and client relations activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Process Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the business process, including key performance drivers and operational report metrics.
  • Clients' Needs Analysis: Gather and document client/investor servicing requirements to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Loan Portfolio Analysis: Participate in initial diligence processes, analyzing loan portfolio data, identifying delinquency rates, and other key portfolio metrics.
  • Relationship Servicing: Ensure required documents, approvals, and instructions are in place for relationship servicing.
  • Consulting Services: Consult with internal/external clients on industry or organizational changes affecting the delivery of services.
  • Quality Control Coordination: Coordinate quality control processes between investors and internal business units to ensure alignment between investor loan servicing guidelines and CMS servicing operations.
  • Data Analysis: Perform loan data analysis to validate and communicate test results to client/investor or internal business unit.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in relationship management or client services within mortgage servicing or related industry preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Intermediate analytical and Excel experience.
  • Project Management: Project Management skills preferred.
  • Mortgage Servicing Background: Mortgage servicing experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certification: Microsoft certification preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $57,500 - $62,500 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
